Path of the Trolls

The only way to enjoy the real beauty of the Norwegian scenery is to sit back, relax and ‘watch the world go by’.

The ferry brings you across the Moldefjord, continue via Ørskog Mountain and the village of Stordal. After a short stop at the Rose Church, you drive to the strawberry village of Valldal, where you will be served a delicious lunch.

A stop will be made at the canyon of Gudbrandsdjuvet before you head upwards the magnificent mountain area to the Trollstigen plateau. From here you’ll be able to enjoy magnificent views over the wild, unspoilt mountains and the Isterdal Valley. Then you sneak downwards the steep mountain side via the famous Trollstigen road, 11 hairpin bends in total! A photo stop will be made in the valley to admire the lovely, cascading 590 foot Stigfoss Waterfall.

The tour goes on to the famous ‘Troll Wall’ with its vertical, overhanging wall. On the way back you will enjoy a short ferry ride before entering the town of roses – Molde.
