Together with his wife Christine, he founded a guide company "Møre og Trøndelag Guideservice AS" for cruise ships, Hurtigruten and private groups and with all of his experience he is involved in the positive development of the company.

Christine moved to Norway with her Norwegian husband and founded a company "Møre og Trøndelag Guideservice AS" that deliver guides for cruise ships, Hurtigruten and private groups. Meanwhile the development of own tours is a big part of the business. Thanks to her experience and contacts, the company grew quickly and received the Gaselle-bedrift award for positive development several times in a row

In the meantime, I have certainly made over 100 trips in all seasons. The coastal landscape with its fjords fascinates me and I would like to share my experiences and my enthusiasm with you. I am also an passionate herbalist and deal intensively with the wild plants in our region.

I grew up in Austria in the middle of mountains and lakes. That's why I immediately felt at home in the Norwegian countryside. After working as a lawyer for many years, I wanted to change myself and work as a support for my sister in Norway for a season. I liked it so much that I stayed and took over the area as guide manager. Every year I look forward to the summer with the challenging work, the encounter with the different cultures and the many familiar faces who spend the summer with us every year and work as guides for us.

For more than 10 years he has worked as a Brand manager in Trondheim for Cruiseships and private groups.

Since then, I’m involved in tourism and I have been a part of Møre & Trøndelag Guideservice team since 2022. Together with Arne Sagmo I’m responsible for the Management in Trondheim with cruise ships, private groups and the coordination of the guides. In my free time I enjoy reading and travelling. I guide in Italian, English, Portuguese, and Croatian.

A country that is unquestioningly number 1 in terms of quality of life, at least the Norwegians themselves claim. I invite you to a discovery trip and hopefully I can inspire you to feel the same about Norway.   I guide in German.

The secret lies behind the mountains of Norway and that is exciting: “The deepest ..”, “the purest ..”, “the clearest ..” …   did you know that the water temperature 120km off the coast of Norway  is  -1,5c with a depth of 1000m?   You’ll find this out and even more, even my shoe size.   The whole family have been associated with Norway for 25 years. I guide in German.

That's rather easy to answer: yes, the love but the love for the country. Back in Germany studied ethnology and culture history and for my masters I had a primary focus in folk tales and fairy tales. And emigrating to Norway has always been a childhood wish anyway. So it was just a matter of time until I ended up here – and the job as a guide gives me the opportunity to get to all those beautiful places of western Norway and to show them to the people that come with me – and also I can tell them one or two troll fairy tales.

The most beautiful moments and tours for me are those where I go with a group into the deep wilderness of mountains and forests for a hike, away from the rather common tourist attraction. I love to show them what nature has in store.

The work as a Tour Guide allows me to show people the natural beauty of Norway and to tell them about the traditions, history, customs and many curiosities about Norway and the Norwegians.

Each year, I look forward to the summer so that I can resume this rewarding experience.
